Range
This page is not a catalog. It is the list of families we work with and, next to each one, our actual role — because it is the role, not the name of the cheese, that says what we can vouch for.

An importer reading a price list sees names. What they need before the names is to know what the supplier actually does with each of those products: whether they age it, portion it, pack it under their own label, or simply resell it. Those are three different positions in the chain, with three different levels of responsibility and traceability.
That is why this range is organized by role rather than by product category.
1. Denominations we age, with our name on the consortium label
This is the level where our role is registered and verifiable by a third party.
Bitto DOP and Valtellina Casera DOP. The label applied by the Consorzio di Tutela Valtellina Casera e Bitto carries the words “Stagionato da: Bongetta Formaggi — Cosio Valtellino”. That is not a marketing statement: it is how the control system of the denomination records who carried out the aging, and it is readable on the piece itself.
They are also the two mountain denominations least present outside Italy, and the ones where the gap between the product and its international reputation is widest.
2. Products packed under our own label
Here our name, the Cosio Valtellino address and the establishment approval number are printed on the pack. The product leaves identified as ours.
- Latteria Nostrano — a dairy wheel, ingredients milk, rennet and salt, wrapped in our printed paper.
- Saporito — a Bongetta-branded line, ingredients milk, salt and rennet, aged and packed by us.
- Burro Bongetta — butter wrapped in our own printed paper, with lot code and company reference.
- Taleggio DOP — packed in our paper, with the mark of the denomination and the reference to the authorized control body.
- Pecorino Romano DOP — portioned and packed by us in counter formats, labeled in our name. It is the only sheep’s-milk cheese documented in our material.
3. Denominations we distribute
Grana Padano DOP, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Gorgonzola DOP and Fontina DOP are part of what we offer.
For these we claim no registered aging: until the exact role is documented, we present them as products we distribute. It is a distinction that costs us something in storytelling and is worth a great deal more in reliability.
4. Other families
Fresh dairy, Valtellina specialties, cured meats and gift assortments round out the offer for the domestic market. For export these families have to be assessed case by case, because shelf life and entry conditions vary far more than they do for long-aged cheese.
What you will not find on this page
Prices: this site does not sell and publishes no price lists.
A table of formats, weights and shelf life for every item: those figures belong in the technical data sheet we send after first contact, tied to the actual batch. A shelf-life figure published on a web page is not tied to a lot, and therefore is of no use to anyone planning a landing.
How to proceed
Tell us in the form on the Contact page which families interest you, the destination country and your sales channel. We reply with the technical data sheet for the relevant items and with terms quoted on the actual case.
If the destination is the United States, read the page on the 60-day rule first: it changes which items we can offer you.
